Times: 09:30 to 18:00 History, culture, a sandy beach, sea, mud bath - all by jeep means everything you are looking for in a day out. Visit SAKLIKENT GORGE, and play on the sandy beach of PATARA. Be prepared to get wet all day long through ongoing water fights. Itinerary: After you are collected from your accommodation you will be driven to Xanthos. Next you will journey to Saklikent Gorge on the back roads for a more rustic experience. Along the way there will be a quick stop at the Carpet Weavers, where you can learn about the long traditions of Turkish carpet-making. Once you are in Saklikent you will have introduction about the gorge and be given information about rafting on the river. You will have an opportunity to walk in the gorge as well. After you have finished with the gorge you will have a nice BBQ lunch. Then on the way to Patara Beach you will have a chance to have a mud bath. The tour will finish at Patara Beach where you can enjoy the sand and sea. Notes: Lunch, entry fees are included. Rafting is extra while you are at Saklikent Gorge. Drinks are also extra throughout the day. You need a bag for Patara beach. Prepare for walking at the Saklikent Gorge as you will become muddy and wet. All day you will have water gun fights in the jeep so be prepared for this. Jeeps are open-topped so mind your belongings and protect yourself from the sun.
