Times: 08:30 to 17:30 ( Everyday ) Meis Greek Island A tiny island, Kastellorizo ( Meis ) is a place where your only means of transport are your own legs, and the pace is slow and laid-back. The people are typical islanders: friendly and curious, and even thought their lives are not the easiest on this isolated island, they try to liven things up with romantic songs of the past and many festivals. A striking feature of the islands only village, Megisti, is the brightly painted houses. This goes back to the Byzantine and Turkish time, when the colours of the house would display the status of its mistress. Itinerary You will be collected from your accommodation and taken on the short journey 20 minutes to Kas , where you will hand your passports in to customs . Ferry boat journey over to the island takes about 30 minutes . On arrival on the Island you have most of the day free doing as you wish . Have a yummy greek lunch on the harbour , you may also like to swim at one of the beach clubs there also . The island also has a small Duty Free if you would like to buy anything at the end of the day before your departure. Our driver will be waiting for you at the Kaş harbour to bring you back to Kalkan where they will drop you of at your accommodation. Notes: Price includes the return trip to Kaş and ferry boat ticket there and back . You need your passport with you for customs. Any currency is okay to spend but there are exchange facilities at the ferry office.
